I: Woman: Beauty Exhibition opens May 2nd, 7:30pm at Bait Al Baranda.
I'm having invitations made this week (printed and e-invites).
My list of contributors is growing! It's going to be a great show.
1. If you have photographs/paintings about women-beauty, email me your work, and tell me a bit about yourself and the images.
2. I'll choose what images to include in the show.
3. You need to print and frame them yourself. (This way, they are your own, and you can have them for sale if you wish. 15% goes to Baranda. 10% to charity. 75% to you, the Artist.) Make sure the frames have a strong string across the back, 3/4ths way up (so the string is hidden behind when hung on wall).
4. Get your framed artwork to me as soon as possible. I'll start hanging the pictures on April 30th (day), and finish on Saturday the 2nd. Write any text you'd like to accompany your pictures. (English and Arabic--I have a translator.) I need your name, picture titles, email, phone #, and price.
5. Come on opening night! Bring business cards, and be ready to "network" and promote yourself and your Art.
6. The Exhibition will be up until May 14th. You may collect any (unsold) Art from Baranda.

I'm now taking bookings for March 2009 - June 2010. (Planning to leave Oman July 2010.)
I do weddings, engagements, birthday parties, and family/child portraits.
I also give photography lessons.
I : Woman : Beauty will be a group exhibition at Bait Al Baranda, May 2-14 2009.
I would like artists of all types to submit their work to me for possible inclusion, by the 17th of April.
Photography, painting, drawing, fashion, sculpture, jewelry, design, installation...?
Art exploring the question: What is beauty?
What is beautiful (to you)?
What is a beautiful woman?
Inner/Outer beauty
What are our mirrors, which tell us if we're beautiful or not? (Culture, religion, our families & friends, media, etc...)

Anyone (women/men/youth/children) may submit artwork according to the theme.
This show is about promoting local artists, and encouraging people to think about beauty.
Opening night will be 2 May, 2009.

| Wedding Season 2009 & Photography Lessons
I've photographed weddings at the Al Bustan Palace, Shangri-La, Hyatt, Crowne Plaza, the Intercon, Ruwi Church, and in many private residences.
I also photograph engagements, henna parties and traditional ceremonies.
My job begins when you start getting ready. Makeup. Hair. The gown and veil. Shoes. Rings. Flowers.
Capturing the special details and real moments "behind the scenes."
Action. Emotion. Light & Darkness. Colour. Shape.
Artistic.
Creative.
I also cover the standard portraits, family groups, ring exchange, cake cutting, first dance, bouquet toss, etc...
